As a sabre fencer I've put a lot of thought into what to offer for other sabre fencers.
My first weapon was quite awful! It rust and wrapped shortly after I bought it. It soon snapped at the tang because the base were too thin and there were too much play in the grip, repeat cut in practice weaken and eventually break it, without any contact. The grip were too smooth it keep sliding and my thumb get slammed into the bell guards countless time.
For this Electric Sabre, the blade has a rust resisting coating on it to help the blade last longer (rust weaken the blade). The base is thicker and taper off further away so the blade holds its shape better in practice and competition. The grip is ergonomic with a more texture grip. The full transparent pad let you personalize the inside of the bell guard (such as engraving your name)
